Brenda Slaughter-Price received a dual Bachelor of
Science Degree in Social Work and Human Services, and a Master of Arts
Degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University. She is
currently completing her Doctorate in Academic School Psychology from
Walden University. Brenda is a member of The National Teachers
Association, The American Counseling Association, The American
Psychology Association, The Walden University Chapter of the Psi Chi
National Honor Society, The North American Association of Master in
Psychology (NAMP) and the founder of Psyced Consultants. She is a
Nationally Certified Psychologist with a practice emphasis on Attention
Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and co-morbid conditions, Autism and
Disruptive Behaviors. Brenda has received advanced training in Behavior
Modifications, Inclusion programs, and bereavement. Her mental health
practice is located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. She is a child/parent
advocate and frequently assists in placement and programming at the
public school level. Brenda is an Inclusion Specialist and is making
plans to expand her practice to include children with Attention Deficit
Hyperactivity Disorder and co-morbid conditions. She published a book
last year “A Practical Guide to Recognizing Childhood Disabilities: A
Social Perception." Brenda's new book "The Existential Approach to
Psychotherapy, Death & Dying" will be published this year. |
