Chris has spent more than eighteen years as a counselor in the helping professions, primarily assisting people in recovery from abuse of alcohol and other drugs. He works especially well with clients having difficulty meeting compliance requirements of "court-ordered" treatment, such as Deferred Prosecution or Deferred Sentencing programs. While well-versed in traditional treatment modalities, Chris also explores alternative methods of recovery. Having worked in a variety of treatment settings, from state funded residential inpatient to the most "elite" of private outpatient programs, Chris can assist any client in developing a recovery plan that's right for them. He believes the best tools of treatment are simple and the key to recovery is consistently applying those tools "one day at a time". Chris has an A.A. degree from Orange Coast College, a Bachelor of Science degree in Developmental Psychology from California State University at Fullerton, and a Master of Arts in Psychology from Antioch University in Seattle, Washington.
