Erin Dale has a Master's Degree in Social Work from San Jose State University, with a specialty in Aging, and is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker employed by Child Protective Services in Stockton, California. For the past 13 years, she has worked with the elderly, as well as children & families, in various social service agencies. Erin also served in Adult Protective Services for three years, investigating physical, emotional and financial abuse of seniors and developmentally delayed adults. She provided personal counseling services through the YWCA of Monterey County, helping men, women, and children to develop healthy family relationships. YWCA counseling services are geared towards helping the victims of spousal abuse, which encompasses substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Erin has also completed a great deal of research on obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), and she employs cognitive behavioral techniques to attain lasting results for those effected by this illness. Erin is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW). She approaches counseling from a "strengths based" perspective, focusing on her clients strengths to help them achieve personal growth. |
