Elizabeth Chapman holds a Masters of Ministry in Christian Counseling from International Seminary in Florida. She also holds Certification in Faith-Based Counsel from International Institute of Faith Based Counseling in Texas. Prior to obtaining her Masters she majored in Nursing and Psychology during the first 4 years of her education. She holds a Ministerial License from Life Training Institute in Texas. Elizabeth has worked in the fields of Geriatrics, Profound Mental Retardation, and Addiction. She has taught in churches, and at the college level. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the National Association of Faith-Based Counselors. Elizabeth is certified to use the GOD 14 Program for addictions, and has been trained in Spiritual Gift Assessments. She prefers to be called Liz, and it is Liz’s belief that many of our issues and concerns stem from incorrect beliefs and invalid fears. Therefore, she uses a coaching model called Misbelief Therapy. Her coaching is based on scriptural applications to everyday life. Liz has 4 grown children, all with their own unique ministries to others. She has five grandchildren and is an advocate for the protection of young children from predators. Finally, Liz believes all Christians are accountable to reflect Christ, and wrote a devotional that outlines how to live a life of such accountability. She calls her private coaching ministry Divine Appointments, based on the belief that the Lord has many divine appointments for all of us, if we only watch for them and grow from them.
