Joseph is a metaphysical minister and licensed spiritual practitioner who doubles as a "personal wellness coach". His favorite influences are Dr. Albert Ellis and Dr. Carl Jung. Joseph agrees with Dr. Ellis that unhappiness often comes from "awfulizing" and "catastrophizing" (viewing small setbacks as major horrific events) and "musterbating" (demanding others conform their behaviors and thoughts to what we desire them to be). Clients are expected to "do their part" in the healing process by attempting to change how they view themselves and how they view others. Joseph's laid-back and positive attitude provides clients with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to discuss major and minor issues alike. Through the study of complimentary and alternative medicines, Joseph has come to believe in taking a wholistic approach to life, that balance and moderation genuinely are keys to inner peace and happiness. He teaches that forgiveness and continual gratitude are the two greatest healing devices known, and commonly assigns his clients phrases to memorize and repeat often. Spiritual, rather than religious, he is capable of providing multifaith spiritual support, including spiritual advice and energy healing (including Reiki, Energy Psychology, and affirmative prayer) for clients who request it.
