Lyn has been working in the field of counseling for over 20 years and has worked in a variety of settings with children, teens, adults and families. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon and has completed Level 1 & 2 in ‘Cybercounseling’ through Toronto University. In 2004 Lyn completed a post-graduate certificate in Therapy with Children who are Adopted and their Families. She has worked with teens in a residential treatment setting, victims of domestic violence, as a child development specialist (school counselor) and predominantly as a child and family therapist with a diverse range of clientele. Lyn specializes in providing counseling support and coaching online for adoptive families dealing with attachment issues, grief, loss, trauma, and behavior issues. Lyn has two adopted daughters and considers them to be her *best* teachers. Due to her personal experience of the challenges being an adoptive parent brings, supporting adoptive families has come to be a passion of Lyn’s. She hopes to see all adoptions as satisfying *forever families*.
