Mildred I. Rodriguez is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. Originally from Puerto Rico, she received her master's degree in social work at the University of Connecticut. Mildred has worked with individuals, couples, and families in diverse settings, helping them deal with life stress and coping with chronic illness, acculturation, bereavement and family situations. Mildred has nine years experience working in the courts, community psychiatric and medical hospitals, and as a mobile crisis counselor. Currently, she is working for MHM Correctional Services in Florida. Mildred's approach to counseling is eclectic because each situation is unique to the individual and their circumstances. She is also sensitive to cultural issues, due to her formal training and her experiences as an immigrant.
