Rachel Warner believes that in every situation there is hope, and enjoys finding that along with passions and dreams with her clients. She has worked with a variety of ages and issues at a Catholic Counseling Center. She specializes in personal exploration, (including personality testing with the Meyers-Briggs), and overcoming barriers to be free to express that. Some barriers that she enjoys working with can be life transitions, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and addictions. Her approach uses an array of counseling techniques, including client-centered, recovery-based, and cognitive-behavioral specialties. Her spiritual life is very important to her, and is very approachable/non-threatening and accepting of where you are at in your own spiritual growth. She also has an extensive background in career/life planning. She has worked at two University’s in this capacity. If you are looking for a career change, or would like to know more about how to plan your work around your life, she delights in helping you through this process. She herself has held several different jobs in the past, including attaining her dream job as a Dolphin Trainer, and then going back to her 1st passion of counseling. Rachel received a BS degree in Psychology with a minor in health, from Western Oregon University. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Lewis & Clark College and is currently in the Doctoral Program for Counseling Education at Oregon State University. She is also a member of the Oregon Career Development Association, and the Oregon Counseling Association.
