Shelley is a licensed clinical social worker in California, Oregon and Washington. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Seattle University and her Master's degree in social work from Fordham University in New York. Shelley has been specializing in the treatment of eating disorders for the past 8 years. She was a primary therapist at Monte Nido, the respected residential treatment program in Malibu, California, and program director at Bella Mar, a transition house for women with eating disorders. In addition, Shelley worked as staff therapist at an intensive outpatient treatment program in New York city. She currently enjoys her own private practice, working with eating disorders, relationship issues (including marital counseling and divorce counseling), anxiety, depression, stress management, life transitions, and women's issues. Shelley continues to receive training and education in her field and is affiliated with a number of social work, counseling and eating disorder organizations including: AED, EDAP, IAEDP, NEDO, and NASW.
